Realized Price

Realized Price

Pricing Model

Each customer's effective rate per unit, as it stands now: the contracted price after the discount waterfall, after any concessions granted at the table, after bundle and allocation effects, and after the drift that comes from renewals carried forward on old terms. Realized price is distinct from list price (the design intent), from net price (the figure on a given quote after discounts) and from scheduled net price (the target the architecture says a deal should land on). Across a customer base the realized prices form a distribution, and the shape of that distribution, by customer group, is the evidence a pricing decision rests on. It is the last layer of the price stack: list price is the design intent, scheduled net price is the target the architecture prescribes, realized price is what landed.
